2018 Summary and Results
We are thrilled to report that after expenses over $27,000 was raised for our second annual Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk to directly support Sheboygan County Food Bank! We are also happy to share that a grand total of 1,271 people joined us, which included 319 runners and 952 walkers.
Once again, the 5K run and 1-mile walk course offered a “sneak peek” of Making Spirits Bright in Evergreen Park one week prior to its grand opening and the after party and 5K run award ceremony took place at 3 Sheeps Brewing’s taproom. New this year, people enjoyed "Santa's Workshop" tent for family-friendly activities and refreshments, a professional race chip-timing and reporting service, more music speakers throughout the course, a Deer Creek Cheese tasting and beer pairing at 3 Sheeps, and much more.
Thank you to our sponsors, in-kind donors, participants, volunteers, committee members, and co-chairs as well as our great partners, Making Spirits Bright, for making this event possible!
