Our community is blessed with the generosity of our residents. We are grateful for those who participate in our three biggest annual food drives, but we are always happy to help people host their own food drives!
Food drives can be stand-alone events, or associated with another activity. They can be hosted by companies, or one or more private individuals. Here are just a few ideas:
- Birthday parties
- Special movie showings
- Sports events (in-person or on TV)
- Community dances
- Halloween parties, haunted houses, and trick-or-treating
- Christmas or other holiday parties
The following are our preferred food items:

Healthy Food Drive Tool Kit
Employees of Sheboygan County Food Bank and members of the Sheboygan Activity and Nutrition Committee (SCAN) came together to create the Sheboygan County Food Drive 5 Toolkit. With permission, the Toolkit was adapted from Brown County as a resource to assist individuals, businesses, agencies, churches, schools and other organizations in promoting their food drives and healthy food donations. It provides informational posters, ideas for promoting on social media, and community-based statistics.
Download the Food Drive 5 Poster that can be included on donation containers.
We also accept food – including fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy – directly at Sheboygan County Food Bank, 3115 N. 21 St., 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Please call ahead of time at 920-453-0169 if you are planning on making a direct food donation. Thank you!
If you are interested in hosting a food drive, we are ready and happy to help! We will supply signage and food donation containers as well drop off and pick up containers. Please fill out the Food Drive Request below and we will contact you as soon as possible.
