The 27th annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger® food drive is on Saturday, May 11, 2019! For this national food drive, food banks and food pantries partner with their local letter carriers to receive food donations from their communities.
Prior to letter carriers’ arrival on May 11, Sheboygan County residents can place non-perishable food items next to their mailboxes. Letter carriers working in Sheboygan, Howards Grove, and Kohler collect those items for Sheboygan County Food Bank, while letter carriers in other local communities (Plymouth and Sheboygan Falls) work with food pantries directly and depend on their communities’ generosity.
We recruit volunteers to help letter carriers pick up food items on their routes, unload letter carriers’ vehicles at the post office, transfer food to our warehouse, and sort food once it arrives at our warehouse. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here, or reach out to our Warehouse and Logistics Manager, Jodie, at @email@example.com.

- Stamp Out Hunger® is our largest single-day food drive – we received 41,260 pounds of food from the local community in 2018!
